Upcoming open vacancy to work with challenging students in small groups at a Trafford based secondary school.

Any experience of mentoring students is highly desirable. This secondary school situated in the heart of Trafford is looking to take on a Behaviour Mentor who is available on a full time basis from September 2022. The school has an internal resource centre where students are supported on a more isolated basis working with support mentors on a one to one basis and in small groups.

Key aspects of the Behaviour Mentor role:

  • Pay ranging up to £385 per week dependent upon prior experience
  • Work within a successful and thriving SEN department, working closely with the SENCO and entire team of support staff
  • Work with students of all age ranges and abilities
  • Positive and supportive school that are invested in providing support to all students to minimise disruption
  • Gain valuable experience at a successful Trafford based secondary school

The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working with hard to reach students that are disengaged with their learning. This experience may be from a youth worker setting or perhaps in another school based role, either, bringing with them transferable skills and experience. This school has a strong support network and is specifically looking for a motivated individual who is looking for a longer-term career position.

This Trafford based secondary school is situated close to the city centre of Manchester. The tram stop is therefore within commutable distance.
