Behaviour Support Mentor in South Manchester

A co-educational Secondary School based in South Manchester has recently begun recruiting through Teaching Personnel for the position of Behaviour Support Mentor to begin after the April holiday until the end of the school year. The role would be full-time (Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:00pm) not including school holidays.

The school in question is an Ofsted Outstanding secondary school. The role of a Behaviour Support Mentor involves working within the behaviour unit in the school, helping disengaged students who are struggling to work within normal lesson time. The behaviour unit at the school holds up to a maximum of 10 students per day. A candidate with strong behaviour management skills and a strong sense of empathy is crucial to this role.
