Our partnership school aims to empower every student to reach their full potential by offering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Job Details:

  • Position: Full-Time Teaching Assistant/Behaviour Mentor (will consider part time)
  • Start Date: 15th April 2024
  • Duration: Ongoing assignment with potential for permanency
  • Salary: £85 - £100 per day - depending on experience
  • Hours: Term-time only, 8:30am - 3:30pm

Responsibilities: As a Teaching Assistant/Behaviour Mentor, you will:

  • Provide one-on-one support to students, helping them overcome barriers to learning.
  • Assist with classroom activities and provide additional guidance as needed.
  • Implement behavior management strategies to promote a positive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop individualised support plans.
  • Foster a sense of belonging and inclusion for all students.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students who require additional support, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
  • Understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
  • A passion for promoting inclusion and diversity in education.
  • Relevant qualifications or willingness to undergo training as required.
