SEND Teaching Assistant

Rikama Education Ltd. are currently working with SEND school in Swanley, who are looking for a number of reliable, resilient and positive Teaching Assistants to start as soon as possible for both Primary and Secondary learners, with the opportunity of a permanent role for the right candidate after the initial period.

The school offers excellent facilities, extra curriculuar activities and are generally an amazing team to be part of. They are on an extremely large site and educate and care for students (mixed boys and girls) aged from 7 to 19 with a range of needs including: Autism, Down's Syndrome, Global Delay and some challenging behaviour. Some roles could require you to complete personal care.

As an SEND Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for and have:

Supporting on either a 1 to 1 or small group basis
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Resilience
A calm and caring approach
