We’re working with a secondary school looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their support team from September.

You’ll be working closely with students with additional needs, providing 1:1 and small-group support both in and outside of the classroom. The school is looking for someone who can build positive relationships with students and confidently support their learning, progress and wellbeing.

The role:

  • SEN Teaching Assistant supporting students across the school
  • 1:1 and small-group support
  • Supporting students with a range of additional needs
  • Working closely with teaching staff and the wider SEN team
  • Full-time position starting September 2026

We’re looking for:

  • Previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant
  • A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
  • Experience supporting students with additional needs
  • A patient, reliable and positive approach
  • The ability to build strong relationships with young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
