Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Sunderland on a part-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils in a nurturing school environment, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.

  • Supporting pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 and small group basis.
  • Assisting the class teacher with daily learning activities.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement.
  • Supporting pupils with varying learning needs.
  • Contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Has experience working with children in a school or childcare setting.
  • Is patient, caring, and committed to supporting pupil development.
  • Has strong communication and teamwork skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
