We are looking for a caring, patient, and enthusiastic Behaviour Support Worker to join our team in supporting children across our primary school.

This rewarding role involves working with children who have behavioural needs and Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to achieve their full potential both academically and emotionally.

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with behavioural and emotional needs.
  • Deliver targeted interventions to support children across the whole school.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, promoting confidence, resilience, and self-esteem.
  • Work closely with teachers and the wider school team to implement behaviour support strategies.
  • Create a nurturing, safe, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
  • Support children in developing positive social, emotional, and behavioural skills.
  • Has experience working with children, particularly those with behavioural needs and/or SEN.
  • Is calm, patient, nurturing, and able to build positive relationships.
  • Can work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team Teach training would be an advantage, although this is not essential.
  • A supportive and friendly school environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
