Part-Time PPA Cover Teacher – Primary School, Orrell

Teaching Personnel are helping a primary school in Orrell to recruit a flexible and confident PPA Cover Teacher to work on a part-time basis across EYFS, KS1, and KS2. This role is ideal for a teacher who enjoys variety and can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

You will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, ensuring continuity of learning while class teachers are out of the classroom for planning, preparation, and assessment time.

Key responsibilities:

  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons across different year groups (The ideal candidate will be confident working across EYFS, KS1 and KS2).
  • Maintaining high standards of behaviour and engagement.
  • Adapting teaching approaches to suit different age ranges and abilities.
  • Providing feedback to class teachers.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience across all primary age ranges (desirable).
  • Flexibility, confidence, and strong behaviour management.
