We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Intervention Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Burnley on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to helping pupils reach their full potential through targeted intervention and support.

As a KS2 Intervention Teacher, you will work closely with pupils across Key Stage 2, delivering focused intervention sessions designed to raise attainment and boost confidence in core subjects, particularly English and Maths.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging intervention programmes for small groups and individual pupils.
  • Identifying learning gaps and implementing strategies to support progress.
  • Monitoring, assessing, and recording pupil development.
  • Working collaboratively with class teachers, SENCOs, and support staff.
  • Creating a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages achievement.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
  • Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Is passionate about supporting pupils to achieve their best outcomes.
  • Can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
