Teaching Assistant – Alternative Provision

Not every young person thrives in a mainstream classroom.

We are seeking Teaching Assistants to support students attending alternative provisions due to social, emotional and mental health challenges.

These settings provide smaller class sizes, personalised support and a nurturing approach that helps students re-engage with education.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Supporting students who may have experienced trauma or adverse childhood experiences
• Encouraging participation in learning activities
• Promoting emotional wellbeing and self-confidence
• Supporting positive behaviour and personal development
• Working as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
