Are you passionate about supporting young people who face challenges with their mental health?

We are seeking caring, resilient and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in specialist educational settings supporting students who experience a range of social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping students overcome barriers to learning, build positive relationships and develop the confidence they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.

The Role:

  • Supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  • Encouraging engagement with learning activities
  • Helping students regulate emotions and manage behaviour positively
  • Building trusting and professional relationships
  • Working alongside teachers, therapists and pastoral teams

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Patient, empathetic and resilient
  • Passionate about making a difference to young people's lives
  • Comfortable working with challenging behaviour
  • Previous experience suppoting children in education, care or youth work is essential
  • Full-time availability

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
