Although full-time Teaching Assistant roles are available, many candidates begin with cover and support work, allowing them to develop their skills and gain valuable school experience before progressing into longer-term positions.

As a Teaching Assistant, you may be required to:

  • Support students during lessons and classroom activities

  • Encourage student engagement and participation
  • Support pupils with additional learning needs where required
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
