A highly regarded mainstream primary school in Darwen is looking to appoint a motivated KS2 Teacher for the 2026/27 academic year. This long-term opportunity is ideal for a teacher who enjoys inspiring learners and supporting pupils through the final stages of primary education.

You will be teaching an Upper KS2 class and will play a key role in ensuring pupils are well prepared for SATs assessments and their transition to secondary school. Previous experience delivering SATs interventions and exam preparation would be advantageous.

• Deliver engaging and effective Upper KS2 lessons
• Support pupils' academic achievement and personal development
• Plan and implement SATs preparation strategies
• Assess progress and provide targeted support where required
• Foster a positive and productive classroom environment
• Work effectively with staff, parents, and external partners

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
• Strong understanding of Upper KS2 expectations
• SATs preparation experience desirable
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to inspire confidence and achievement in pupils
