Are you a passionate and dedicated KS2 Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking an enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school, where you'll inspire and challenge pupils through engaging, creative, and well-structured lessons.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, challenging, and inclusive lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
  • Teach pupils across Years 3–6, adapting lessons to meet a range of abilities, learning needs, and individual requirements.
  • Develop pupils' knowledge and skills across core subjects, including English, Mathematics, Science, and the wider curriculum.
  • Create a positive, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, confidence, and a love of learning.
  • Use a range of effective teaching strategies and resources to support pupil engagement and progress.
  • Assess, monitor, and record pupils' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development.
  • Identify pupils who may require additional support and work with colleagues and support staff to ensure their individual needs are met.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour, engagement, and respect within the classroom.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues, and the wider school community.
  • Contribute to planning, assessment, school events, enrichment activities, and wider school initiatives where required.
  • Support the social, emotional, and academic development of pupils, promoting confidence and independence.
  • Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and current teaching practices.
  • Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to plan and deliver engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons.
  • A passion for primary education and a commitment to inspiring and motivating pupils.
  • A commitment to raising attainment and supporting pupils of all abilities.
  • The ability to differentiate effectively to meet individual learning needs.
  • An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • A current enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
