Teaching Personnel is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker (Classroom Assistant / Teaching Assistant) to join a highly supportive specialist primary school in Bury. This welcoming setting caters for children aged 3–11 years with a range of complex needs, including Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about inclusive education and committed to helping children achieve their full potential. You will play a vital role in supporting pupils to develop their communication, independence, social skills, and overall wellbeing within a nurturing learning environment.
As a Support Worker (Classroom Assistant / Teaching Assistant), you will work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families to provide personalised support that enables pupils to access learning and make meaningful progress. Every day will be different, offering rewarding opportunities to positively impact the lives of children with complex learning needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
