Full-Time | September StartHelp children develop positive behaviours and thrive in school. Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Support Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Stockton-on-Tees this September. This rewarding role involves working with pupils who require additional behavioural and emotional support, helping them to overcome barriers to learning, build positive relationships and succeed both inside and outside the classroom. The Role:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group behaviour support.
  • Promote positive behaviour strategies and emotional regulation.
  • Support pupils in managing social, emotional and behavioural challenges.
  • Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral staff to implement support plans.
  • Encourage engagement, attendance and participation in learning.

We're looking for candidates with experience in:

  • Youth Work
  • Care & Support Work
  • Sports Coaching
  • Mental Health Support
  • Psychology or related graduate backgrounds

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
