Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join a specialist SEN School and College in Bury. This rewarding full-time role involves supporting young people aged 11-19 with a range of additional and complex needs across both secondary and post-16 settings.

Providing tailored 1:1 and small-group support to young people with additional needs
Encouraging confidence, participation, and engagement in daily activities and learning
Supporting individuals with a range of SEN and complex needs
Assisting with personal care where required, always promoting dignity, respect, and independence
Using positive behaviour support strategies to manage and de-escalate challenging situations
Helping students build communication, social, and life skills
Promoting independence and preparing young people for adulthood
Creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where every individual can thrive
Working closely with teachers, therapists, support staff, and families to achieve the best outcomes for each learner

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
