You'll play a key role in helping students overcome challenges, rediscover a love of learning and achieve outcomes they can be proud of.
- Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Foster a structured, calm and supportive classroom environment.
- Support pupils with emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies.
- Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists and pastoral teams.
- Monitor progress and celebrate individual achievements.
- Adapt teaching to meet EHCP targets and personal learning goals.
- Promote resilience, confidence and independence.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching pupils with SEND or SEMH is advantageous.
- Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills.
- Creative and flexible approach to teaching.
- Passion for inclusive education.
- DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- Small class sizes with excellent staff-to-pupil ratios.
