Are you a passionate and resilient teacher looking for a rewarding new opportunity? We are currently recruiting an SEMH Teacher to join a specialist school supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated teacher who wants to create a positive learning environment and help pupils overcome barriers to education.

The role:

  • Full-time SEMH teaching position
  • Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
  • Supporting pupils with a range of emotional, behavioural and additional needs
  • Building positive and trusting relationships with students
  • Working closely with support staff, families and other professionals
  • Encouraging pupils to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate about working with young people
  • Patient, calm and consistent
  • Confident managing challenging behaviour
  • Able to adapt teaching to individual needs
  • Resilient, enthusiastic and committed
  • Experienced in SEMH or specialist education (desirable)
