EYFS Teacher – Frome
Start Date: October 2026 (or earlier if needed)

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing EYFS Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Frome, starting in October 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Early Years practitioner to support pupils through the important transition from Reception into Year 1, while also playing a key role in welcoming and settling the new EYFS cohort.

The successful candidate will:

• Have previous experience teaching within EYFS
• Be confident supporting transition between Reception and Year 1
• Create a positive, engaging and supportive learning environment
• Be proactive, adaptable and committed to high-quality early years education
• Be prepared to support the onboarding and settling-in of the new Reception cohort

What's on offer:

• £125 - £150 per day, depending on experience
• Full-time position available, with part-time considered for the right candidate
• Initial contract for the first term, with the potential to be extended for the right candidate
• No planning responsibilities required at this stage
• Ongoing support from a dedicated Teaching Personnel consultant
• Access to a range of CPD opportunities through Teaching Personnel

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Previous EYFS teaching experience
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service is desirable
• Safeguarding training is mandatory
• All applicants will be subject to Teaching Personnel's comprehensive vetting process, including:
• Right to Work checks
• Background and reference checks
• Verification of qualifications and employment history

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
