Salary: £27,932 - £49,084pa (Dependent on experience)

About the Role:

Supply Desk are currently seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school in the Watford area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate early years educator who is committed to creating engaging learning experiences and helping young children build a strong foundation for their future education.

You will play an important role in delivering high-quality teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), supporting children’s social, emotional and academic development while creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative and age-appropriate EYFS lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Create a welcoming, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment where every child feels valued.
• Support children’s academic, social and emotional development through effective teaching and nurturing relationships.
• Monitor, assess and record pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
• Develop strong and positive relationships with parents, carers and colleagues.
• Promote positive behaviour, confidence and independence among pupils.
• Ensure safeguarding and health & safety policies are followed consistently.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Previous experience teaching within EYFS (Desirable).
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices.
• Excellent communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
• A positive, caring and proactive approach to teaching.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
