We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Primary School Business Manager to join our vibrant educational community in South West London. As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a crucial role in the strategic and operational management of the school, contributing to its continued success and growth.


  1. Financial Management:

    • Oversee budgetary planning, financial reporting, and resource allocation.
    • Implement effective financial systems and procedures to ensure the school's financial health.
    • Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing strategic recommendations to the leadership team.
  2. Human Resources:

    • Manage the recruitment, induction, and performance management of support staff.
    • Oversee payroll, pensions, and staff contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
    • Work collaboratively with the leadership team to foster a positive and inclusive staff culture.
  3. Facilities and Operations:

    • Lead on premises management, including health and safety, security, and maintenance.
    • Coordinate the procurement of goods and services, negotiating contracts to achieve value for money.
    • Implement and maintain efficient administrative systems to support the day-to-day operations.
  4. Strategic Planning:

    • Contribute to the development and implementation of the school's strategic plan.
    • Provide insight and recommendations to enhance the school's operational efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Collaborate with senior leaders to align financial and operational strategies with educational objectives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in financial management and strategic planning, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of school finance, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in human resources management and facilities oversight.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation and regulations in the education sector.
