Teaching Personnel are working with a Primary School located in Langley Moor who are looking for an experienced Y5/6 teacher to join their school. You will be supporting pupils within a mixed ability class to raise attainment within the core subjects as well as continuously tracking and monitoring student progress to ensure all pupils are achieving their potential. This role is to start in January 2022 and is to run for 1 term.

Ideally, the right candidate should have good engagement strategies as some pupils can become distracted during lessons. Overall, the class behaviour is good with pupils being eager to learn. The head teacher is happy for Early Career Teachers to apply for this role.

The Role:

Candidate Requirements:

  • Hold a UK recognised teaching qualification
  • Hold recent experience working within KS2
  • Track record of raising attainment across core subjects
  • Creative approach to teaching to hold engagement within in class
  • Must have a valid Child Only DBS accessible on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
