Role: KS1 Teacher
Location: Durham
Start Date: 1st of November 2021

A Primary School in Durham are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Year 2 teacher to join their school, currently have great success with closing the gap on learning they are eager to appoint a confident teacher to assist within their Year 2 class.

With a strong desire to provide quality educators to ensure their pupils are reaching their full potential, they are keen to appoint a quality educator to encourage pupils to reach their potential. A small primary school continually marked ‘Good’ their teachers go above and beyond to ensure pupils are meeting their potential. With a focus to improve numeracy across the school, having a strong background in maths would be extremely advantageous.

This role is due to start 1st of Novemeber and is likely to run for the full academic year as the role is covering a member of staff going onto maternity.

The role requires:

  • UK recognised QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Knowledgeable on current and relevant Key Stage curriculum
  • The ability to plan engaging and creative lessons
  • Commitment to raising standards in teaching and learning
  • A passion to deliver the highest quality of education through a range of enrichment activities and creative teaching
  • Valid DBS (A Child Workforce that is accessible through the Update Service)
  • Eligible to work in the UK (Right to work in the UK documentation)
