Role: KS1 Teacher

Location: Hartlepool

Start: April 2024

A school in the Hartlepool area are looking for a KS1 Teacher to join their school and start after the Easter break. The reasoning for the vacancy is that the school is expecting a teacher within this role to leave after this period. The position to teach the Year 1 class of 24 pupils will be full-time.

The school have set out the following requirements for this role:

  • A UK recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or BA with QTS)
  • Experience with Primary aged children
  • Good behaviour management skills
  • Organisational skills
  • Must hold a valid child only DBS on the update service

The ideal candidate should have excellent knowledge of the current curriculum and would be beneficial to have an understanding of Phonics. Further to this, you should be confident planning and delivering interventions to pupils as well as taking car to track their progress.
