Join a small secondary school in Salford with a commitment to staff development and pupil progress.

  • Full-time Design and Technology (Resistant Materials) teacher.
  • Required from September 2020.
  • Guaranteed until the end of the academic year (July 2021) with the potential of continuing further.
  • Supporting pupils aged 11-16 across Key Stage 3 and GCSE.
  • Work in a recently refurbished department with modern facilities and specialised equipment.
  • Paid to scale point (£24,373 - £40,490).

The incoming teacher will be providing DT/Resistant Materials lessons and will be expected to plan, prepare and deliver these. It will be important to ensure all lessons meet the needs of learners at varying levels of learning ability and that any students in need of additional support are identified. The incoming teacher will be taking on full planning and marking responsibilities.

The successful candidate must have experience teaching Design and Technology up to GCSE level and must hold QTS. Both experienced and newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply as relevant induction support will be provided.

Our client school is located in Salford and can be easily accessed via the M62 and A580 from neighbouring areas such as Eccles, central Manchester and Bolton. For candidates who do not drive, our client school can also be accessed via several forms of public transport.
