Are you confident working with young people and looking for a rewarding role within education? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in South Yorkshire.

Whether you're an experienced Cover Supervisor, a recent graduate looking to gain valuable classroom experience, or considering a future career in teaching, we have a range of flexible opportunities available.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play an important role in maintaining continuity of learning when teachers are absent. You will supervise pupils, deliver pre-prepared work and ensure students remain focused and engaged throughout the lesson.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising classes in the absence of the usual teacher
  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons and learning activities
  • Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining high expectations
  • Supporting pupils with their learning and encouraging positive engagement
  • Following school policies and safeguarding procedures
  • Providing feedback to teaching staff where appropriate
  • Creating a positive, calm and productive classroom environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
