An exciting opportunity has arisen for motivated and professional individuals to join a number of secondary schools across Bury and Salford as Cover Supervisors.

This role is ideal for graduates considering a career in education, individuals exploring teacher training pathways, or experienced professionals seeking to further develop their classroom experience within a secondary school setting.

As a Cover Supervisor, responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher.
  • Delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring students remain engaged with learning.
  • Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Liaising with teaching staff and providing feedback on lesson outcomes.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold a degree or have relevant experience working with young people.
