Are you considering a career in teaching or education and want to gain valuable experience in a secondary school before taking the next step?

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting confident, enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in Oldham, Rochdale and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, teaching assistants, youth workers and anyone with experience working with young people who is looking for a rewarding and flexible role within education.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising students during lessons when their usual teacher is unavailable. You will follow the lesson plans provided by teaching staff, maintain a positive learning environment and support students to stay focused and engaged with their work.

You do not need to be a qualified teacher to apply. Full support will be provided by your dedicated Teaching Personnel consultant throughout your placements.

  • A genuine passion for education and supporting young people.
  • Previous experience working or volunteering with children or young people.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Confidence in managing a classroom and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • A reliable, professional and enthusiastic approach to work.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
