Looking to gain valuable classroom experience? Supply Desk is recruiting confident Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Chichester this September.

Perfect for graduates, aspiring teachers or experienced education professionals, this is an excellent opportunity to build classroom management skills and gain insight into secondary education.

• Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher.

• Deliver pre-set work and ensure students remain on task.

• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

• Support students with their learning where appropriate.

• Report any issues or concerns to senior staff.

• Confident and professional approach to classroom management.

• Experience working with young people is desirable.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.

• Ability to adapt quickly to different school environments.

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

• Supportive and welcoming secondary school environments.
