Job Description

Rikama Education Ltd are working with a good secondary school in Paddock Wood, which has an ethos which is shared by staff and students, and is founded on respect for each other and for the community.
This school offers a friendly and supportive environment where the staff are known to be hard-working and help each student reach their full potential. The school are always improving and have recently introduced two new buildings to their site with modern facilities.

The school are looking for a Drama Teacher to join their team. As a Drama Teacher, your responsibilities will be:
  • Teaching Drama to KS3 & KS4
  • Marking and planning for all lessons
  • Responsible for conduction ad-hoc meetings and structured parents' evenings with parents/guardians/carers
  • Maintaining and improving the academic results of their Drama students
  • Classroom management

To be successful in the Drama Teacher role, you must:
  • Hold an up to date DBS
  • Have strong classroom management skills
  • Hold relevant teaching qualifications (Bachelor of Education / PGCE / QTS)
  • Have experience as a Drama Teacher, teaching up to GCSE
  • Have strong knowledge of the curriculum
