A lovely special educational needs school in Crawley are looking for a passionate and positive Teaching Assistant to get stuck into their interactive and practical curriculum. You will be joining a supportive team who aim to provide a safe and secure learning environment for their students who have learning difficulties ad speech and language needs.

Your responsibilities will include:
-Working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups with pupils
-Providing feedback to teacher on students' progress and development
-Creating a secure and positive classroom environment
-Supervising and monitoring behaviour
-Following the individual learning plans set by the teacher

An ideal candidate may possess the following skills and capabilities:
-An ability to build positive and appropriate relationships with students and teachers
-A passion for working with EBD children
-Own means of transport (this is essential)
-The ability to support the general well-being of students
-Good numeracy and literacy skills
-At least 2 references
