Here at Teaching Personnel we are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated ADHD Specialist Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Crawley. This is a full-time position, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting students with ADHD in their academic journey.

Role and Responsibilities:

As an ADHD Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Work with Individuals and Small Groups: Provide tailored support to students with ADHD, both individually and in small groups, to enhance their learning experience.

  • Collaborate with Teachers: Work closely with teaching staff to implement strategies that support ADHD students in the classroom.

  • Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs): Execute and monitor IEPs, ensuring that each student's specific needs are addressed.

  • Promote Inclusivity: Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the school community, promoting understanding and empathy for students with ADHD.

Requirements:

  • Specialist Knowledge: Significant experience or qualification in supporting individuals with ADHD in an educational setting.

  • Effective Communication: Strong communication skills to collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and external support agencies.
