We require an enthusiastic and student-centred Maths Teacher for our small partner school based near Fareham, Hampshire. The school are in search of a teacher who can join their team on a full time basis from September for a permanent position and hope to be able to appoint a long-standing member of staff. You will have strong interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively individually and as part of a team and have the ability, not only to teach students from KS3 through to GCSE, but also to inspire and encourage children to develop a love of Mathematics.

The school aims to provide all pupils with a top class education within a small community orientated atmosphere. All pupils are encouraged to achieve beyond their expectations both within the curriculum and their wider social and emotional developments through secondary school. Consistently they achieve results in line or above national average make this a desirable school for pupils to attend and teachers to work in. A heavy focus on personalised learning drives results upwards as pupils strengths and areas for development are recognised quickly and intervention and adaptation to learning is made.

The ideal candidate would:

  • Be a Fully Qualified Teacher, or Instructor. PGCE, Maths or related degree and consistent experience
  • Be looking for full time employment
  • Have a good, consistent, proven track record of classroom experience
  • Be committed to continually improving their teaching and learning
  • Be committed to raising achievement of all pupils
  • Have outstanding subject knowledge
