We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Tutor to provide tailored 1:1 tuition and support for a student with Special Educational Needs in the Hartlepool (TS26) area.

This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced tutor, teacher, or education professional who is passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

  • Deliver engaging and personalised 1:1 tuition tailored to the student's individual needs.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to support a range of Special Educational Needs.
  • Plan and deliver lessons that build confidence, engagement, and academic progress.
  • Monitor progress and provide regular feedback.
  • Create a safe, positive, and nurturing learning environment.
  • Experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Experience delivering tuition or teaching in a school or alternative education setting.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable but not essential for candidates with relevant SEN tutoring experience.
  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Ability to provide professional references.
