  • Deliver engaging and inspiring music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5.

  • Develop and implement a diverse music curriculum that supports students of all abilities.

  • Promote musical creativity, performance skills, and music appreciation through both practical and theoretical lessons.

  • Lead extracurricular music activities, including school concerts, music clubs, and performances.

  • Encourage self-expression, confidence, and teamwork in students through music.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high teaching standards and continually improve the music curriculum.

  • Contribute to school-wide activities and enrichment programmes that highlight the importance of the arts.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it.

  • A degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field.

  • Previous experience teaching music at secondary level.

  • A passion for music and a commitment to inspiring students of all musical abilities.

  • Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.
