Academics are recruiting confident, enthusiastic and adaptable Aspiring Teachers / Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Cheshire and Staffordshire.

What will you be doing?

• Supervising secondary school classes
• Delivering pre-planned work across a range of subjects
• Providing classroom cover during teachers' absences
• Managing classroom behaviour and keeping students engaged
• Creating a positive learning environment
• Building the confidence and skills needed for a future in teaching

Who should apply?

We're keen to hear from anyone with a passion for education and at least two months' experience working with young people, including:

• Sports coaches and youth workers
• Graduates and aspiring teachers

• Scouts, Guides, Duke of Edinburgh leaders and mentors

A degree is preferred but not essential. You must be confident leading a classroom and willing to get an enhanced DBS check.
