Are you a qualified teacher passionate about Teaching Music?

We are currently recruiting for a Science Teacher to work within our SEN School for Secondary aged pupils in Southampton. You will be working with small groups of pupils across the whole school teaching Music. We acter for KS3 and 4 pupils. This is a temporary role for 1 term teaching 4 days a week. 

We are looking for teachers who are passionate about adapting education to meet all young peoples needs and goals. 

The role involves:

  • Working alongside the staff within the school to provide a tailored education to your pupils
  • Working with the Teaching Assistants in your class to provide the best education possible to pupils
  • Communicating with multi disclinary teams to tailor your approach to the pupils needs
  • Thinking outside the box to help pupils achieve and improve academically as well as socially

We are looking for:

  • A committed class teacher confident in teaching Music to secondary pupils
  • A resilient personality who can cope with set backs with pupils
  • A strong communicator
  • A fun and bubbly teacher 
  • Ideally you will have experience working with SEN pupils

You will be rewarded with seeing your pupils achieve things you never thought possible, we will support you in your journey as a teacher to improve your skills and develop and a teacher, via CPD and support from an experienced SLT. 

Pay in line with skills and experience. This role is a 4 day a week role for 1 term starting in September.
