The PWR team are currently working in partnership with an Academy in Romford, Essex. We are currently seeking a dynamic and talented individual to fill the role of Music Teacher on a permanent basis, starting in September 2024. The Role:

  • Position: Music Teacher
  • Start Date: September 2024 (Immediate start available)
  • Type: Permanent, Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and creative Music lessons that foster a love for music and inspire student creativity.
  • Develop and implement innovative lesson plans and teaching resources to enhance student learning.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback and support as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of student achievement and attendance.
  • Participate in extracurricular music activities and events to enrich the school community.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree or relevant qualification in Music or a related field.
  • Previous experience teaching Music at the secondary level, preferably within the UK curriculum.
  • Strong musical proficiency and a passion for music education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their musical potential.
