Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time roles available until the end of the academic year
Pay Rate: £110–£130 per day (depending on experience)

Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and adaptable individuals to work as Cover Supervisors across Primary, Secondary, and SEN schools in Rhondda Cynon Taff, Merthyr Tydfil, and Caerphilly. No previous classroom experience or teaching qualifications are required, as we provide Cover Supervisor training to help you feel confident and prepared for the role.
As a Cover Supervisor, you'll step into the classroom when a teacher is absent, ensuring pupils remain engaged with the work that has been set and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supervising classes during teacher absences.
Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials.
Managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment.
Supporting pupils with their work where appropriate.
Following school policies and procedures.
Working across a variety of subjects and year groups.
Confident, reliable, and adaptable individuals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
The ability to remain calm and organised in a classroom environment.
Welsh speakers are encouraged to apply, although this is not essential.
Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Education Workforce Council (EWC) registration, or willingness to register.
Two recent professional references.
