Teacher of Computer Science

Teaching personnel are working with an academy in the heart of Darlington who are looking for a Computer Science Teacher to start from September 2021. The academy is looking for a candidate to buy into their growing expansion as a school. We welcome applicants from all Computer Science specialisms and the successful candidate will have:

  • Qualified teacher status
  • The ability to teach Computer Science up to KS4
  • The opportunity to teach Computer Science at KS5
  • The ability to motivate students and achieve excellent results
  • Excellent organisational and ICT skills
  • An awareness of effective assessment and use of data to track student progress
  • The capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • A passion for the subject and the ability to share this with young people.
