A Secondary school in Leyland are seeking a Science Teacher who specialises in Chemistry for KS3/4, commencing 1st November 2021.

The school are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual who can inspire and challenge students to excel and engage thoroughly in this subject. You will work towards the school’s vision of delivering a safe, happy and nurturing classroom environment, developing students into caring and responsible citizens.

The school would like to recruit someone with the ability to make a positive impact in the classroom, most notably by developing students confidence. You will be required to implement a creative and interactive teaching strategy to enhance the students personal development.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be innovative and imaginative
  • Be able to progress already hard-working and high ambitious students
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills
  • Be able to easily identify the individual needs of students, and use this to ensure all students of different learning abilities have the opportunity to develop
  • Be trustworthy and able to develop great relationships with the students, teachers and parents/carers
