Role Overview: As a Full-Time Science Teacher, you will have the opportunity to teach a diverse range of scientific disciplines, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. You will engage students in hands-on experiments, theoretical explorations, and real-world applications, fostering a deep understanding of the natural world and a love for scientific inquiry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive Science lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs and abilities of students.
  • Teach across different branches of Science, including Biology (life sciences), Chemistry (matter and its properties), and Physics (motion, energy, and forces).
  • Utilise a variety of teaching methodologies, resources, and technologies to enhance student learning experiences and promote critical thinking skills.
  • Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to support their academic growth and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular links and promote interdisciplinary learning opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Secondary Science Teacher status (QTS or equivalent), with expertise in teaching Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science education across different disciplines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students to explore the wonders of Science.
  • Commitment to promoting scientific literacy, curiosity, and environmental awareness among students.
  • Willingness to undergo vetting procedures conducted by Teaching Personnel, our school's recruitment partner.

Successful candidates may be offered temporary-to-hire or direct school contract placements, depending on their qualifications and experience.
