Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students in Year 6.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to inspire and motivate students to achieve academic success.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to ensure the holistic development of every child.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience teaching Year 6 students, with a strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to engage in reflective practice.
  • Ability to create a supportive and nurturing learning environment where every child feels valued and empowered.
