Are you an exceptional educator ready to make a significant impact on the academic journey of Year 6 students? An exciting full-time position is available after Easter at a primary school in Bexleyheath for a Year 6 Teacher. This role offers you the chance to nurture the intellectual growth and accomplishments of pupils in a Year 6 class located in the London borough of Bexley. Commencing April 2024, this position will run on a full-time basis until the end of the academic year.

Year 6 Teacher Responsibilities:

As the successful candidate, you will oversee the progress and achievement of a high-performing Year 6 class.

Your duties will

• Crearing engaging lessons that adhere to KS2 National Curriculum standards and complement the school's creative curriculum
• Demonstrating a deep understanding of age-related expectations within KS2, and tailoring instruction to optimize educational outcomes for individual pupils
• Maintaining accurate records of data, analyzing areas for reteaching to address learning gaps, and sustaining high levels of achievement
• Cultivating positive relationships with students founded on trust and mutual respect
• Collaborating effectively with teaching assistants, key stage staff, and wider faculty to exchange insights, resources, and best practices

Essential Criteria:

• QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification)
• Strong references substantiating prior experience in KS2, preferably within a Year 6 setting
• A comprehensive CV detailing the last decade of employment history, with any gaps explained
• Eligibility to work in the UK
