Join our dynamic Primary School community in Caerphilly, where inclusivity and academic excellence go hand in hand. We're excited to offer a maternity cover position for a Year 6 Teacher, playing a vital role in our students' educational journey.

Job responsibilities:

  • Craft and deliver engaging lessons tailored to Year 6, aligning with the Welsh curriculum.
  • Employ diverse teaching techniques to cater to individual learning styles and foster active participation.
  • Regularly assess student progress, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on cross-curricular initiatives, enriching our school's educational fabric.
  • Maintain open communication with parents, ensuring they're informed about their child's progress and addressing any concerns promptly.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Demonstrates prior experience teaching primary education, preferably with Year 6.
  • Possesses a thorough understanding of the Welsh curriculum, delivering impactful lessons.
  • Exhibits exceptional communication skills, fostering positive relationships with students, peers, and parents.
  • Shows dedication to creating a nurturing, inclusive learning environment.
  • Embraces flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to our school's values and ethos.
