Year 3 Teacher

Smile Education are delighted to be working alongside a busy primary school located in north Birmingham. We are currently seeking a Year 3 Class Teacher to join the team from September 2024.

We are currently seeking a Year 3 Class Teacher to join the team from September 2024 until the end of the 2024/25 academic year. The successful applicant will be completing all usual roles and responsibilities associated with a class teaching position, including marking and planning. Early Career Teachers seeking a full-time placement from September are encouraged to apply as opportunities exist for applicants to complete induction terms. Pathways for career growth into middle leadership also exist.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and supportive school environment. The school is located in north Birmingham within proximity to Handsworth, Handsworth Wood, Perry Barr, Birchfield and the City Centre. The expected salary range for this role is between £140-190 per day, depending on experience level.

What to expect from applicants?

We would like applicants to hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Both Early Career Teachers (ECT’s) and experienced Class Teachers are encouraged to apply.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:

-        Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)


-        Confident in delivering year 3 curriculum and supporting pupils who may be working below ARE following on from KS1 SATs


-        Able and willing to travel the Birmingham area
