Smile Education are delighted to be working alongside a busy school located in north Birmingham. We are currently seeking a Year 2 Teacher to join this lovely team from May 2024.

We are currently seeking a Year 2 Teacher to join the team from May 2024 until the end of the academic year. The successful applicant will be carrying out all usual roles and responsibilities associated with a class teaching position, including marking and planning. Pupils will be working towards KS1 SATs exams and therefore applicants with strong differentiation skills are encouraged to apply. Good understanding of how to support pupils through effective booster or intervention work is also desirable.

This is a fantastic role supporting pupils before moving up to more challenging concepts in KS2. The school is located in north Birmingham within proximity to, Alum Rock, Ward End, Hodgehill and Saltley. The expected salary range for this role is between £140- 190 per day, depending on experience level.

What to expect from applicants?

We would like applicants to hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Applicants with prior experience of supporting pupils in Year 2, particularly in the build up to KS1 SATs are encouraged to apply.
