Location: Hereford.

Hours: 8.30am – 3.30pm.

Pay rate: £100-120 per day.

Start date: 3rd June 2024.

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a well-known secondary school in Hereford to find an Unqualified Teacher. In this role you will be working with children between the ages of 11-18. This is a full-time role.

As a cover Supervisor your role will include overseeing a class when a teacher is absent. The lessons may vary and subjects you sit in on can change. You may be asked to support the children whilst reading or when going through the work set out by the absent teacher.

In this role, it is essential to possess the following qualities and attributes:

• Confidently engage with a classroom full of students.

• Demonstrate the assurance to effectively administer assigned tasks.

• Cultivate meaningful relationships with students.

• Exhibit reliability and adaptability in various situations.

• Possess a strong passion for contributing to the field of education.

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS cleared & on the update service. (or willing to apply)
  • Be able to provide 2 of your most recent references.
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have up to date safeguarding training or willing to take it. (Provided for free by Teaching Personnel)

No teaching qualifications are needed to apply for this position. Training will be provided if needed!

Teaching Personnel will also give you access to continual development through CPD which you can access through our website once registered with us.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
