Pay Rate: £14.25 - £16.00 per hour
Contract Length: Until Easter 2027

Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for a long-term role within a supportive Primary School environment? We are currently seeking a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream Primary School in Blackburn, supporting pupils across the school and helping them achieve their full potential.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced Teaching Assistants and individuals looking to further their career within education. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to deliver high-quality support to pupils, contributing to a positive and engaging learning environment.

• Support pupils in both whole-class and small-group settings.
• Assist the class teacher with the delivery of engaging lessons.
• Provide targeted support to pupils who require additional assistance.
• Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
• Support pupil progress, attainment, and wellbeing.
• Prepare and organise classroom resources as directed by teaching staff.
• Promote positive behaviour and effective classroom management.

• Previous experience working within a Primary School environment is desirable.
• A passion for supporting children's learning and development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications are advantageous but not essential.

• Competitive hourly pay of £14.25 - £16.00.
